Rental Coordinator

“My name is Marc, and I have been working at Bakker Flow Services since February 2014.

 

I started my career in the Logistics department, and in May 2019 I made the switch to the Sales department, where I now work with great enthusiasm as a Rental Coordinator.

 

In my role, I handle various tasks, such as renting out equipment, accepting maintenance orders from third parties, and selling equipment and spare parts. My workday usually starts around 7:00 a.m. with a cup of coffee while I go through incoming emails for new rental, maintenance, or sales requests. I do my very best to provide our customers with a suitable quote as quickly as possible. Throughout the day, many requests come in, and I ensure that each one is carefully reviewed and processed. When a quote is accepted, I convert it into an order and create a packing list for our logistics department. Together, we ensure that everything is ready on time for shipment or pickup.

 

I also oversee the return process for rental items; after the logistics department has processed them, I verify the details and handle the invoicing, which I then forward to our finance department. This way, I’m involved in the entire rental process.

 

What makes my job so fascinating is the constant variety and the pleasant work environment. I work alongside wonderful colleagues and really appreciate the activities organized by our employee association. I’m proud to be part of the team!”
